The name of the pants is derived from the Italian isle of Capri, where they rose to popularity in the late 1950s and early 1960s. 

These 1950s vintage capris are a dark mustard yellow and have a high waist. They are made of ribbed 100% fine cotton. They feature s stylish extended waistband that acts like a belt with the most delightful buckle to finish the international traveler's look. The WPL# 10360 dates these to the mid-1950s.
