1940s WW2 era Army induction haircut comic postcard illustration of a crazed Army barber, complete with a comb tucked behind his ear! Rolling up his sleeves, he eyeballs the long-haired inductee sitting in a chair awaiting his haircut. Captioned: "So yuh' wants justa litty-bit off thu' back, eh?" In the background, we see a soldier checking out his shaved head in a mirror.
Artist signed "Irby" (Luther Jakie Irby). Artist-signed cards are considered the most collectible of cards. They are postcards where the publisher has identified the artist. (The term does not mean the postcard has been autographed.)
This unused/unsent postcard would make a great gift, look great framed, or make an excellent addition to any collection. This will arrive protected in a side-loading, rigid clear plastic "top loader" case. Perfect as a gift or as an addition to any collection.
