Charles Wesley Andrews was a notable photographer born on December 10, 1875, in Aurora, Ontario, Canada. He is well-known for his beautifully framed shots of the Oregon Coast and other early nature views. Andrews started his photography studio in Baker City, Oregon, 1904 and later moved his production studios to Portland in the 1920s. He also served as the publisher of the Morning Democrat for a time. Andrews passed away on December 22, 1950, in Portland.
