1930s Silver Screen era ladies' pompadour hat with face-framing, turned-up brim trimmed in lush stone marten fur. Art Deco-inspired "v" piecework in brown suede leather on the crown. Fully lined in taffeta rayon.

"Kline's, St. Louis" label, the history of this hat can be traced back to Kline's Department store. Klines began as a millinery shop in 1890. The success of its quality millinery designs laid the foundation for its future as a full-service women’s clothing store. Kline’s were the pioneers in developing women’s apparel stores, and they were the first to sell ready-made dresses in St. Louis.
