1909 London Policeman & Maid Flirtations

1909 vintage postcard. "Sure It's lovin' ye I am" A City of London policeman sits on a wooden chair, resting after a day on his feet. His duty armband on the right arm is red and white, indicating that he is a Sergeant. His custodian, Home Office Pattern Helmet sits on the floor by his feet. He wraps his arms around the waist of his sweetheart. She is still dressed in her housemaid uniform and adoringly cups his face for a kiss. This would look great framed or make an excellent addition to any collection.
