1909 Christmas Morning Postcard

1909. A romantic Victorian vision of Christmas morning that still delights. A young boy happily stretches his arms wide open, grasping the sides of a mistletoe wreath. He wears a red fez. A plethora of toys are in front of him: a drum, pony, and train, to name a few. Hanging from the wreath are three gilded bells, all suspended from a red Christmas ribbon. Illuminated manuscript lettering sends the greeting: "A Merry Christmas" The scene is framed in embossed Holly and red berries.
