Step into a quiet corner of the French Quarter with this black and white vintage sketch reproduction postcard of Eugene Field Court, a place where time seems to slow down. The delicate lines of Louise Sarrazin’s hand capture a moment steeped in Southern charm, stone floors worn smooth with age, a graceful spiral staircase, and leafy potted plants basking in the New Orleans sun. There's a covered walkway and a hanging lantern that whispers of cool evenings and the scent of jasmine.

Built around 1795 by Charles Loubies, this storied home at 628 Royal Street is steeped in history and love, once the residence where Loubies brought his bride Jeanne Marmillion and raised a family. Legend has it that in 1904, the poet Eugene Field, while visiting New Orleans, penned his poignant poem "Little Boy Blue" in a quiet rear room of this very house.

This postcard would look great framed, make a wonderful host or hostess gift, or make an excellent addition to any collection.
