The card is addressed to Miss Barratt at 3 Aldersey Place, London Rd. The publisher, Sallo Epstein & Co. of Durban, was one of the most significant early postcard producers in South Africa. The undivided back includes the instruction Address Only To Be Written On This Side, following international postal regulations of the day.
