Antique 1905 I.O.O.F. Walhalla Lodge No. 171 German postcard from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This original postal card is an official notice from a lodge of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, a fraternal organization active in the early 20th century.
The message side is printed in German and served as both a meeting invitation and a dues statement, addressed to a member at 821 Fifth Street in Philadelphia. It lists quarterly dues along with contributions for a funeral fund and an orphan fund, reflecting the mutual aid role these organizations played at the time.
