Vintage 1940s equestrian riding pants by Meyer's Brothers Sportswear, Lexington, KY, "Home of the Thoroughbred." These Kentucky equestrian pants are full-length, saddle-seat riding pants. The overall look suggests a rider with a longer leg and heel lower than the toe, the desired equitation standard for this riding style. The pants are reinforced with fabric to protect the inner calf and knee from rubbing.
