12L Set of Eight Sew-Through Pearl Shell Dimi Buttons, 3/8"

Set of eight vintage Mother of Pearl sew-through dome shell  buttons. Really unique, these flat-bottom, dome-shaped buttons have a round, deep, recessed eye with two holes.

Measure approximately 7.3 mm at the widest: rounded up to 12L, 7.6mm, or 3/8". The dome is approximately 5 mm tall.

A natural material, Mother of Pearl is made from nacre (the inner layer of pearl oyster shells). These buttons are prized for their natural luster.
