1962 Covered Bridge Albany NH Postcard

This vintage chrome-era postcard offers a classic piece of Americana. While the back features a Greetings From Indiana: The Hoosier State header, the front displays a famous photograph of the Albany Covered Bridge in New Hampshire. This was a standard practice for publishers like Dexter Press, who used iconic images by celebrated photographers for souvenir cards across multiple states.

The image, titled Old Covered Bridge, was taken by Ozzie Sweet and features a quintessential autumn scene with hunters and a white 1956 or 1957 Chevrolet Corvette parked nearby. This card is a great example of mid-century travel souvenirs and the cross-regional use of scenic photography in the postcard industry.
