Send a scenic hello from the "Friendly City" with this vibrant linen-era postcard. Titled Greetings from Lebanon, Ind., the card features a tranquil view of a winding country road lined with a white post-and-wire fence, set against a lush backdrop of Indiana woodland and a soft sunset sky. Lebanon, the county seat of Boone County, is known for its rich agricultural heritage and natural beauty, both of which are beautifully highlighted here through saturated lithographic colors. This style of "Greetings" card was a quintessential souvenir for mid-century travelers exploring the picturesque landscapes of the rural Midwest.
