This postcard was published by C. E. Wheelock and Company of Peoria Illinois and Leipzig Germany as indicated by the printed credit on the reverse. The card was manufactured in Leipzig Germany which was a global hub for high quality lithography during the early twentieth century. It features an exclusive importer stamp box from Wheelock in green ink depicting a wheel logo. The building itself was designed by Samuel Hannaford and Sons and completed in 1901 standing at the corner of Putnam and Second Streets.
