Deep Purple Perfect Strangers Tour T-Shirt & Ticket 1985, Medium

Deep Purple’s "Perfect Strangers" tour in 1984 marked a significant reunion for the band’s Mk II lineup, featuring Ritchie Blackmore, Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Jon Lord, and Ian Paice, performing together for the first time since 1973. The tour promoted their new album, also titled "Perfect Strangers", which achieved commercial success by reaching number five on the UK charts and number 17 on the Billboard 200 in the U.S.

The tour itself was a major success, with high ticket sales prompting the addition of extra dates to their US arena tour. In 1985, their US tour out-grossed every other artist except Bruce Springsteen.

The black, two-sided tour T-shirt comes with the ticket stub from the March 16, 1985 Hollywood Sportatorium concert where it was purchased.

Condition: This shirt has been stored since the '80s. The fabric shows some signs of an overall gentle fade to the richness of the black color - most likely from being laundered. See the images that show a small, lighter, whitish spot on the back side by the DP. Also, see the tiny hole on the back of the shirt at the lower right, near the hem.

Care instructions: Wash warm with like colors. Do not bleach. Dry medium setting. Do not dry clean or iron if decorated.
