An intact example of a Period II general medical and surgical Second Generation Veterans Hospital incorporating elements of classical revival architectural styles that were nationally popular in the early to mid-twentieth century. The hospital is still located at 1100 N. College Ave. and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.
