1939 U.S. Veterans' Hospital in Fayetteville Arkansas

1939 vintage postcard. The recreation building at the U.S. Veterans' Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas. An intact example of a Period II general medical and surgical Second Generation Veterans Hospital incorporating elements of classical revival architectural styles that were nationally popular in the early to mid-twentieth century. The hospital is still located at 1100 N. College Ave. and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2012. This would look great framed or make a nice addition to any collection.
