This vintage postcard from 1907 offers a rear view of General Washington’s headquarters at Valley Forge, a site of immense historical significance. Also known as the Isaac Potts House, it served as the command center for the Continental Army during the harsh winter of 1777-1778. This stone structure, built around 1773, became a pivotal location where Washington strategized and led his troops through one of the most challenging periods of the American Revolutionary War.

Tuck introduced this lithograph postcard in 1903 and described it as a “veritable miniature oil painting." The image captures the essence of the Georgian architectural style, which was prevalent in the 18th century. It is characterized by symmetry and classic proportions.
