This vintage postcard image shows Great Boar's Head in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire.  Classic cars drive along a scenic stretch of road that runs along the rocky shoreline. Ocean waves break just beyond. Several homes are visible in the background, nestled into the landscape overlooking the Atlantic, reflecting the area's long-standing appeal as a coastal retreat.

Great Boar's Head is a prominent geological feature—a glacial drumlin that extends into the sea—named in the 19th century for a rock formation once believed to resemble a boar’s head. Though the rock formation collapsed into the ocean before 1900, the name endures. Since the mid-1800s, Hampton Beach has attracted summer visitors for its natural beauty, ocean views, and refreshing sea breezes.

Today, Great Boar's Head remains a notable local landmark and residential area, rich in natural and cultural history.

This would look great framed or make an excellent addition to any collection.
