This postcard features a sweeping view of Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona. The canyon stretches out in layers of color. Misty depths rising into gigantic crimson sandstone formations, their bands softening toward the horizon where a single line divides the rosy earth from the deep blue sky.
On the back, the sender shares a personal update:
"Dear Mom, sorry that you were under the weather. Hope that you are OK now! Bought 2 motorcycles. Jenna won 2nd place at horse gymkhana Sunday. Love, Ray."
