16L 1950-60s Two-Hole Blush Carved Pearl Buttons, 3/8" (Set of 7)

A set of seven iridescent carved shell buttons that have a blush pink hue. Elegantly carved rim. Sew-through two-hole buttons.

Measure approximately 16L, 16 lignes, 10.1 mm, or close to 3/8".

These genuine vintage Mother of Pearl (MOP) buttons are made from natural nacre of pearl oyster shells, showing natural iridescence with a subtle blush pink hue in some lighting. The elegant carved rim (likely floral or leaf-like swirls) and two-hole sew-through design are classic mid-20th century styles.

These buttons date to the 1950s-1960s vintage era, when carved MOP buttons were popular for women's blouses, dresses, and children's clothing. These buttons were made in Japan for United States and European export.
