These six round translucent green and gilt glass buttons with self-shanks date to the 1920s.

Originating from the Jablonec (Gablonz) region of Bohemia (now Czech Republic), they are classic examples of high-quality pressed glass buttons produced during the Art Deco era. This area was the world's leading center for such decorative glass buttons at the time, with intricate gilt (gold-colored metallic) patterns on translucent or colored glass being very popular for their elegant, geometric designs.

National Button Society - Division II buttons, measure approximately 8.5mm sized up to 14 lignes, 8.8 mm. or 11/32".

Used primarily for sewing on clothing such as blouses, dresses, lingerie, or doll clothes due to their small size and decorative appeal.
