This is a lovely matched set of five diminutive vintage oval glass buttons feature a striking faceted diamond or harlequin pattern in a metallic Hematite luster finish.
Measure approximately 14 lignes, 8.8 mm, or 9/32" (close to 3/8").
These self shank buttons were made during the Art Deco era in the 1920s to 1930s in the Jablonec area of Bohemia, now part of the Czech Republic. This region was a world-famous center for high-quality pressed glass buttons, producing innovative and decorative designs exported worldwide.
In excellent vintage condition with strong luster shine and no chips or damage.
