This waterfall is so grand it pauses twice on its journey down. At an astounding 2,425 feet, it stands as the tallest waterfall in North America and ranks fifth in the solar system. Imagine a waterfall ten times taller than Niagara or Shoshone Falls, and nearly twice the height of the Empire State Building - equivalent to a 200-story skyscraper, if one were ever built. The lower fall, though the shortest segment, still impresses at 320 feet (98 meters).
