This card was produced by J. Murray Jordan at his Philadelphia publishing house located at 1438 S. Penn Sq. as noted on the left margin of the reverse. It features a grayscale halftone image captured by Jordan himself. The building shown served as the federal post office and court house for Canton. The reverse includes a prominent flag cancel postmark from Canton Ohio dated Oct 20 1907 and a green one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp.
The handwritten message from Rosa Gill reads: I was very sorry you were not at Sunday school last Sunday. I will not be at Sunday school tomorrow but will be home again for next Sunday. Try and come every Sunday for you know we want to get the banner. Rosa Gill.
