This card was postmarked in Philadelphia on September 16, 1907, and features a one-cent Benjamin Franklin stamp. It is addressed to Mr. Wm. Greer at the The Orphanage in Croton-on-Hudson, New York. A handwritten message on the front reads: I think this is fast enough for me. One can get away from the rattle and roar. The address side features a decorative Liberty Bell postmark and vertical text identifying the Philadelphia Postal Card Co. as the publisher. Although postmarked in late 1907, the layout remains undivided, reflecting the transitional period of U.S. postal regulations.
