This antique color tinted postcard features The Wayside, the historic home of famed American author Nathaniel Hawthorne, located in Concord, Massachusetts. Titled Greetings from Concord, Mass., the image captures the unique architecture of the house, including the "Sky Parlor" tower that Hawthorne added as a writing retreat. The Wayside is historically significant for having housed three major American authors: Hawthorne, Louisa May Alcott, and Margaret Sidney. It is now part of the Minute Man National Historical Park and is a National Historic Landmark.
