1960s Merry Maids Plus Size 10.5 x 28

Vintage 1963 opaque cotton thigh-high stockings. Spanish Olive Green. These stockings were popular with active sporting women and domestic maids. Stretch top. Made in USA. Seamless. Oversized; plus size stockings. RHT, reinforced heel toe. Never worn. 260 needle, similar to a thread count for finer sheets. 260 indicates these are finer yet more durable. 100% combed cotton, a softer version of regular cotton. New old store stock; never worn. The Ruth Barry brand name was first used in 1963 with the introduction of these cotton thigh-high stockings.
