1950s vintage Vanity Fair lipstick red lace nylon full slip. Vanity Fair label. The company was founded in 1917 as a silk glove company but quickly became a coveted name in lingerie. During WW2 the company joined the war effort and moved its entire production into the manufacturing of nylon parachutes. There is a tiny stain spot at the left side hip area. Minimal chipping of original enameled strap slides on the adjustable straps. Three-panel body. Lined, princess seam lace cups. V neckline in front with straight back. Made in U.S.A.
The vintage size on the label is not true to modern sizing, it says: Petite Medium 8 but see these actual measurements that correspond to a modern Petite, Small 4.
