Vintage 1940s World War 2 era tap pants or French panty knickers by Adonna. 1939 to early 1940s. Tagged "Celanese Jersey of Acetate Rayon" Celanese feels like a man-made silk. Pale eggplant purple. Seams run at the front and rear center, keeping the sides smooth. Overdyed to help disguise hard water stains. Wash as silk. Celanese is a cellulose acetate fabric. Hand wash separately in warm water; air dry or cool dry drier setting will best suit the longevity of this vintage foundation. Label: Adonna.
