1940s. Black Beauty: a vintage nylon full slip trimmed in soft, sheer organdy with embroidered cups. By Philmaid, 34. Vintage era: 1940s, before 1947. Black. V-neckline at front; straight back. 

Adjustable ribbon shoulder straps. Four-gore body. Front modesty shadow panel. Gently gathered cups with bow motif embroidery. Hem decorated with double sheer mesh and bow motif lace. By Philmaid, a lingerie company founded in 1930. The name was altered to Phil-Maid in 1947, so this slip predates 1947.
