1930s. This exquisite antique bracelet shows Native American influence. The use of Hubbell glass beads, created in Bohemia to mimic coral and turquoise, was introduced into the Southwest tourist jewelry market by Fred Harvey. As artisans saw the acceptance of the imitation pieces, skilled artisans began to incorporate the beads into their own unique, Native American-influenced pieces.

This stunning bracelet features alternating coral-colored and turquoise-colored Hubbell glass bead charms dangle between squash leaf beads. The book chain on this bracelet threads through silver squash leaves that are beads of a sort, in and of themselves.

Length laying flat 7 inches Circumference when closed 6 inches
