1924 Summer Ride by Albert Caasmann for Rosenthal

1924. Summer Ride (Sommeritt) was designed by Albert Caasmann for Rosenthal in 1916.  A. Caasmann. Mold number M440. The Rosenthal Selb Bavaria mark on the base dates this piece to 1924. Approximately 3 1/2 inches tall (9 cm). 

Albert Caasmann (1886 – 1968) was a German sculptor and porcelain artist. He designed a series of elf and fairytale-themed figurines, including this Ground Fairy riding a grasshopper.
