1918 WW1 Era Easter Morning

1918. Evidence of the ink shortages towards the end of the Great War is seen in the simple illustration of this charming antique Easter card. Note the postage stamp is a 2-cent stamp, as the cost was raised from one cent to fund the war effort. A darling, chubby-cheeked child reaches up to pet a white bunny rabbit sitting atop a table decorated with a vase full of Spring flowers. "I send this little rabbit gay, To greet you on Easter Day".
