This 1909 Tuck's Oilette postcard features the striking ruins of Keiss Castle in Caithness, Scotland, rendered in the painterly style that made Oilettes so beloved by collectors. Perched on a dramatic cliffside overlooking Sinclair Bay, the castle dates back to around 1600 and was originally built by George Sinclair, the 5th Earl of Caithness.

By the time this postcard was printed, the castle had long since fallen into romantic ruin, its crumbling towers and sea-battered walls capturing the imagination of Edwardian travelers. Tuck's Oilette series often highlighted picturesque and historical landmarks, and this view of Keiss is no exception—blending artistry with the rich history of the Scottish Highlands.

This postcard would look great framed, make a wonderful hostess gift, or make an excellent addition to any collection.
