1908 Argentina President Mitre Medal

A silver medal commemorating the life of Bartolomé Mitre. Bartolomé Mitre Martínez (26 June 1821 – 19 January 1906) was President of Argentina from 1862 to 1868 and the first president of unified Argentina. Obverse: Mitre, Bellagamba y Rossi (José Bellagamba and Constante Rossi). Reverse: 26 Junio 1821 19 Enero 1906, Juan Canter 19 Enero 1908. Measures 38 x 50 mm. Weight: 30.8 grams.
