1940s-vintage sheer seamed thigh-high stockings with Cuban heels, a favorite of WW2-era fashion.

Era: 1940s vintage plus-size stockings.

Size: Estimate L-XL, as these fall into the vintage Petite, Stout range. The stockings are measured flat (not stretched), approximately:
7 1/2 inches toe tip to heel
23 3/8 inches from thigh hem to center heel (Petite, Stout)

Material: Nylon

Features: Fully fashioned thigh-highs, Seamed, Cuban heels, with keyholes.

Condition: Previously used. Freshly washed and ready to wear.

More Information: During the World War II era, strict wartime rationing of silk and nylon forced women to get creative. Many turned to liquid hosiery - painting their legs with cosmetic leg makeup and drawing fake back seams with eyebrow pencils - making surviving authentic pairs like these precious pieces of history.
