Set of two 1930s vintage black celluloid toggle shank buttons. Faux black water buffalo horn finish.

Measure approximately 67L, 67 lignes, 42.5 mm, or 1 3/4".

Celluloid is considered the first plastic. Introduced in 1880, celluloid reached its height between the 1930s and 1955. It was banned from production due to its high flammability.
