This beautiful postcard features the historic John Oliver Cabin, nestled in the heart of Cades Cove within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Built in 1818, this log structure is the oldest standing building in the area, marking the homestead of John Oliver, a War of 1812 veteran and the first permanent white settler of Cades Cove.
