Additional Information

Rock City Gardens, opened in 1932 by Garnet and Frieda Carter, was designed to blend the wonder of nature with the magic of European folklore. Inspired by the enchanted landscapes of her childhood, Frieda imported gnome statues from Germany and placed them throughout the gardens. These red-capped figures, along with the dreamy dioramas in Fairyland Caverns, have become enduring symbols of Rock City’s charm.

This vintage postcard would look great framed or make an excellent addition to any collection.
