This in-flight cutlery kit includes two stainless steel forks, a knife, and a spoon stored in a plastic bag featuring Varig’s iconic compass logo and “Brazilian Airlines” in black cursive script. Used by Brazil’s flagship airline between 1961 and 1996, these utensils are most likely from the early 1970s.

Condition: as-found, as shown.

Varig was a symbol of adventure and sophistication, carrying passengers across the skies of South America with warmth, pride, and a touch of glamour.

This set evokes that romantic era: the polished service, the excitement of distant destinations, and the subtle luxury of dining above the clouds. A tangible piece of aviation history that connects collectors to the charm and elegance of classic Brazilian flight.
