1909 Housemaid & London Policeman Kissing

1909 vintage postcard. "An' now she's up in arms against me!"  A City of London policeman, or bobby, stands at a curtained window embracing his sweetheart. His duty armband worn on the sleeve is red and white, indicating that he is a Sergeant. He holds his custodian, Home Office Pattern Helmet, in his hand. She is dressed in her housemaid uniform and kisses him passionately.
