A mid-century South American Diaguita-style tribal pottery seed pot, handcrafted using the traditional coiling technique. It features a burnished polychrome finish with traditional dark red and black geometric designs.

The Diaguita culture, renowned for its distinctive ceramics featuring white, black, and red geometric patterns, originates from an Indigenous group native to the Norte Chico region of Chile and northwest Argentina. Their pottery tradition dates back to approximately AD 700 and is linked to the Las Animas cultural complex.
