Deep Purple’s "Perfect Strangers" tour in 1984 marked a significant reunion for the band’s Mk II lineup, featuring Ritchie Blackmore, Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Jon Lord, and Ian Paice, performing together for the first time since 1973. The tour promoted their new album, also titled "Perfect Strangers", which achieved commercial success by reaching number five on the UK charts and number 17 on the Billboard 200 in the U.S.
The tour itself was a major success, with high ticket sales prompting the addition of extra dates to the US leg of their arena tour. In 1985, their US tour outgrossed every other artist's except Bruce Springsteen's.
The black, two-sided tour T-shirt comes with the ticket stub from the March 16, 1985, Hollywood Sportatorium concert where it was purchased.

See the images showing a small, lighter, whitish spot on the back side near the DP. Also, see the picture of the tiny hole on the back of the shirt, lower right near the hem.
