Set of twelve 1930-50s vintage buttons, notions, sewing supplies. So tiny!

Material: Trochus shell. Genuine mother-of-pearl (MOP). From the sea snail Trochus Niloticus. Trochus produces a thick, strong, creamy nacre that's used for high-quality carved buttons.

Color: A creamy soft white color, subtle iridescence, and a smooth, slightly shiny nacre appearance. All natural.

Era: 1930-50s

Origin: Japan. In the 1920s, Japan became a major processor, turning Australian/Pacific trochus into finished buttons exported worldwide.

Uses: Ideal for doll restorers, miniature crafters, button collectors, and historical sewing enthusiasts.
