1949 Bomber Jacket (Size: Small)

It's rare to find US Military bomber jackets in such a big size! 

Established as 419 Troop Carrier Wing, Medium on 10 May 1949. Activated in the Reserve on 27 Jun 1949. Ordered to active duty on 1 May 1951. Inactivated on 2 May 1951. Redesignated 419 Tactical Fighter Wing on 22 Feb 1982. Activated in the Reserve on 1 Oct 1982. Redesignated 419 Fighter Wing on 1 Feb 1992.

The chest measures approximately 44" (Large)
Length from back collar to end of leather: 22 1/2"
Width of knit waistband: 2 1/2"
Length of sleeve: 22 1/2"
Width of wristband: 2 1/2"

Sold as is. The lining is deteriorating, It is well worth having restored or just cut out the lining. I have left it in for you to make a pattern should you choose to have it replaced. The cuffs and waistband have moth holes. Mars and small tears on the surface.
