1932 Great Harbor Canal Gothenburg Sweden Postcard

This is a 1932 vintage postcard showing boats in the Göta Canal, one of the largest civil engineering projects ever undertaken in Sweden. The canal stretches from Sjötorp on Lake Vänern to Mem on the east coast. 87 kilometers of it were dug by hand.
