1912 Fede Hands Birthday Greetings Postcard

1910 vintage postcard, posted in 1912. "Birthday Greetings" “Fede” is Italian for faith, fidelity, and trust. “Mani in fede,” means hands clasped in faith. The classic fede design depicts a man and a woman's hands clasped in a gentle gesture of trust and affection.

This card has a rare gelatin coating. Expected cracking in the coating can be seen with the naked eye, which is expected in antique cards with a glossy gelatin finish.
