1912 Cuddle Up Courting Chair Postcard

1912 vintage postcard. "We were never meant to hate each other." A darling couple cuddles up on one of the two seats of a courting chair. Courting chairs had two connected seats facing opposite directions, so courting couples could talk but not touch. Look behind the lady, and you can see the back side of her seat, which she has abandoned to snuggle up with her sweetheart.
