Step into the quiet grandeur of Forest Lawn’s Memorial Court of Honor with this beautiful vintage postcard. From the stately arcade, your eye is drawn down the colonnade to the glowing stained-glass masterpiece at the far end—Rosa Caselli Moretti’s breathtaking re-creation of Leonardo da Vinci’s “The Last Supper.” The vivid colors and expressive detail capture the emotion and drama of the original, offering you a glimpse of one of California’s most remarkable artistic tributes.

This famed stained-glass window was created by Italian artist Rosa Caselli Moretti and set within the Great Mausoleum at Forest Lawn Memorial-Park in Glendale, California. Commissioned in 1924 by founder Dr. Hubert Eaton, the monumental work measures approximately 30 feet wide by 15 feet high. It is magnificently displayed in the Memorial Court of Honor, surrounded by exact marble reproductions of Michelangelo’s greatest works, creating a setting devoted to art, beauty, and reverence.

The back of the card carries a copyright from Forest Lawn Memorial-Park Association, Glendale, California. With its glossy chrome finish and pre-ZIP code format, this postcard was produced in the late 1950s to early 1960s.

A wonderful collectible for art lovers, history enthusiasts, and postcard collectors alike. It would look great framed or make an excellent addition to any collection.
